Find the number of calendar days and weeks between two dates, with an option to include both the start and end date.
How date difference is counted
Elapsed days include the start date and exclude the end date. Select “include both dates” when both boundary dates should count, such as a trip lasting from Monday through Friday.
Elapsed days = end date − start date Inclusive days = elapsed days + 1
Weekdays are not business days
The weekday result only removes Saturdays and Sundays. It does not account for public holidays, local calendars, company closures, or legal deadline rules.

Are public holidays excluded?
No. Weekdays only mean Monday through Friday.
What happens when both dates are the same?
